and I could not care less.
I hope for the best this season but I have zero confidence in Allen, Loomis, or Carr to build this team back into a product we can be proud of. The continual slow erosion is the expectation.
Hopefully the new offensive staff can produce a spark, and maybe one of these young quarterbacks will provide hope that this team could receive the ultimate NFL bail out of having a dynamic QB on a rookie deal. And maybe the addition of Chase Young can get us a respectable pass rush again.
These unknowns are the only glimmer of hope. Otherwise I’ve resigned myself to a 4 win season as the best outcome for the greater good of the franchise.
And even then I don’t see Loomis going anywhere.
Hope I’m completely wrong in all of this however because no matter who’s in the uniforms or running the franchise I do love the New Orleans Saints.

I feel like if you started this thread you could care a little less
But I do get what you mean. I hope to be wrong but the recent state of affairs has me less enthusiastic about the upcoming season than I have been in the past.

I suppose the appropriate terminology would be “I have never cared less”

Yet you still come and POST about it on a Saints message board. Just come out and say you have NO chest. Things the DRIVEMAN is looking for:
- First offensive scheme change since driveman was at LSU
- How good is Fuaga? How bad is Penning? Can the scheme hide the line?
- Haener vs Rattler
- Foskey vs Turner
- Deepest position on the team: LB
- Can Jordan Mims be a viable backup RB
- Is Dallin Holker for real
- AT Perry next step

All of the things you have mentioned would be great to consider if Allen would have been replaced in the offseason. Maybe this is the year that Allen actually develops into a head coach that can take a team to the playoffs and maybe win a division. But if history is any indication that is a tall ask for a guy with a .340 win percentage.

I would add watching the oline if it doesn't bother my stomach too much.
Watching Mason Tipton WR.

Not a DA HC fan, but the complete nuking of the SP offense does show some level of awareness. If it fails you get a top 10 pick and new HC
