Every team the Saints have played so far have fallen on hard times, after they played the Saints.

Lions...well, we'll skip them. They always fall on hard times.

Eagles...just lost to the lowly Raiders and are just a shadow of the once mighty Eagles.

Bills...were playing well when we played them. They lost the the Pats on one of the dumbest plays I've seen in a long time. They just don't look that good any more.

Jets...undefeated and "crowned" the Queen of the Festival by the talking heads, at the time. Now, Dirty Sanchez completes as many passes to the opposing team as he does to players wearing the same jersey.

And now the Giants, who I predict will be in for a few loses the next few weeks.

I bring this up because there's a trend here and that trend is due to Williams quickly reacting to offensive schemes. Williams is a game changer on defense. He's a master at recognizing weaknesses and putting players in position to exploit those weaknesses...and he can do it on the fly.

This is a copycat league and the rest of the league is watching and learning from Williams.

Is Williams that good? 5-0 says yes.

I think that Williams' schemes are good but that we're also so physical that the opposing teams are battered when we're done with them.

Look at the injury reports after each game. The Bills one sticks out to me because they lost Leodis McKelvin and 1-2 guys for the season after that game as well as losing several more guys like Donte Whitner for several weeks.

I think when it comes to Mr.Payton and Mr.Williams they are exceptional at exploiting other teams weaknesses. Hince the reason every team we play hits a downslide, these 2 guys give the next teams the layout to beat them.

Also hats off to mickey loomis for helping get williams in here and to coach payton for taking a pay cut to get the deal done. At least he realized what needed to be done on the defensive side of the ball and made it happen.

good point, I've thought several times- why is it they are hyped up before we play them... then after they lose it is always because of something about them (not the Saints play). This past week finally got it past the hump where it cannot be explained away anymore.

Along these same lines, they just said on ESPN radio that the Giants should win easily today because they'll correct the weaknesses in their defense that the Saints helped expose.
