By elite I mean top 3 in the league. He was without a doubt in this category in years past, but has he lost it a little? 5 ints in such a big game is not something you would expect from him 3 years ago.

Is this the only game he has been less than stellar this season?

Nope, he sucks now, trade him I say. Off to Arizona for Patrick Peterson, Early Doucet, and their entire draft so we can get Montgomery, Mingo, Mathieu, Minter, Reid, and dibs on Mettenberger

This season Drew brees is:

1st in yards
1st in touchdowns
2nd in completions
1st in attempts
2nd in Yrds per game
12th in QB Rating
and sadly, yes, first in INTs

All that with all the offseason bullshite, countless drops from WRs, almost no runnign game for the first half of the season, and without a HC, mentor, and OC coordinator.

Yes he fricked up the last two games, but he is still elite, still deserves the money he makes, still breaking records, and is still a future HOFer.

Can you really be an elite QB if you are leading the league in INTs? I mean, he has almost as many INTs as Brady, Rodgers and Peyton combined.

what about last year when he set a 30 year old record for yards while leading the NFL in touchdowns all while leading the Saints offense to the best season in NFL history?

I'm sure he's no longer physically capable of doing that anymore after a few months. How stupid can you possibly be?

Manning > Brees

Brees vs. Brady, I'd say even, maybe give an edge to Brees as QB, Brady does have 3 rings though.

Brees > Rodgers

No. I mean it's not like he's even broken any long standing records or anything recently.

oh wait...

Probably not. If he was first or second in every single other category, then maybe. Oh wait...
