these NFL contracts as a whole are ridiculous. not just the Brees deal. i dont really understand why you cant meet in the middle between 24-20 mil a year for example. some guys already have enough money in the bank for their grankids kids to live comfortably off of. at some point loyalty should be a factor.....right? makes me a little angry sometimes, while i collect my military paycheck, away from my family for months at a time, missing christmas's and birthdays etc..
hopefully they find common ground soon.

With the amount of money the NFL as a league brings in, these contracts seem fine to me.
