The harm is that he doesn’t factor into the saints future at all. Book potentially does.

All I’ve seen are god awful reads from Book. Seriously who cares about the future let’s worry about today. Haven’t converted a single third down… something’s gotta give

This! This is not a playoff team, if they HAPPEN to make it great. BUT right now, the most important thing is to see what you have in Book. All things considered, I think he has played well tonight. He needs reps, and I think he will develop quickly…….he’s mobile I think he has enough arm strength and accuracy to make the throws.
With an ACTUAL starting O-line and some help at WR……I think we could POSSIBLY have something. It’s too early to tell of course, but he does have some potential.

Payton will never make the change. That guy is slowly becoming a fraud and a product of Brees. People act like this performance is something new. Saints been performing like this all season.
