How do you explain the lack of urgency?

When a team is down a few scores with 6 minutes left, teams are usually hurrying. They’re not casually walking back to the huddle, which is what the Saints were doing. And if a team is casually walking when they should be in hurry up you should see the coach going ballistic. Am I wrong in thinking they gave up, or worse threw the game?

Sean got engaged and Drew threw a fundraiser. Not sure why any of that is done during the season.

I said the same thing in the game thread. Payton seems to be thinking about anything but this game.

Makes you wonder what the hell this team did to prepare in the off week too. Brees giving speeches at Purdue. Payton getting engaged and watching the LSU Alabama game. Jordan doing bow hunting videos. This is not a good loss. We found no ways to move the ball all day and we play these guys in 3 weeks
