That was a terrible arse decision. Say what you want about Payton, we had the ball at the 12 with a chance to win. Your should be able to trust your HOF qb in that situation. Rodgers and Brady aren't making that throw. What a shitty, shitty decision. And why throw to that scrub of all people?

For those saying "run the ball!!" It was 2nd down and the falcons were using their time outs. Unless you feel the play was to go to overtime (dumb) you definitely throw, but Brees blew it.

Yup he had a bad 2nd half. That throw was so fricking bad. He was being selfish - wanted the pretty TD over the middle.

The play call wasn't bad. The pass / decision was.

Second half was horrible. We had one scoring drive on a short field

Drew should have made a better read, check down and go to his backup receiver

I get that but as a qb if it ain't 100% there... You don't throw it. If anything throw high where its the TE or no one. Ball was underthrown. Easy pic

That doesn’t mean Drew has to force the ball in there when the guy is clearly covered. Thrown out of the end zone if you need to. It was a bad pass.

It's astounding that Brees threw that ball. I still can't believe it.

Yup. All on Brees. Nothing about him is clutch anymore. Call him what you want but he's holding passes longer not because WRs are struggling to get open, it's because he has a confidence problem. Watch how he throws balls. He pushes the ball out. Something is wrong with his arm. Some passes just look like absolute ducks and no, I don't mean the ones where he's throwing them in the dirt on purpose. His arm strength seems to have really fallen off in just a year. I'm wondering if he has an injury they're hiding. Wouldn't be first time he played all season with an injury.

Father time has officially caught up with Checkdown Brees. Time to send him packing and jump into the Cousins sweepstakes. The magic surgery done on that arm 10+ years ago is over.

Up 7 I the second half? Abandon the running game.

Defense gets another turnover? PASS PASS 3 and out.

1:38 left on the road down 3 on the goaline? Pass pass interception.

He doesn't deserve to coach an NFL team after that

So you want a 3rd and long to go for the win? You realize if we score there we go up 4 and they have to drive the length of the field Right? If they stop us on 3rd and we kick a field goal they only have to get in fg range for the win. "Run the ball!!" Was only appropriate if you think it will lead to a td. Brees blew it.

Bree’s can’t throw that. He’s not a rookie.

However the refs made sure this race stayed open.

Ridiculous

He shite the bed in that game too. If you forgot he threw a pass that should've ended that game. He got extremely LUCKY. He doesn't have it anymore. Wake up.

This team changed after the 0-2 start largely because they stopped putting games in his hands. He's not capable anymore.
