Saints don't have enough playmakers to be able to afford losing him. He's always good for a couple tough first down runs, and opens plays up for others.

Zero toughness running the ball at the line of scrimmage. I love Alvin but he needs to get past line. Alvin and Jamaal are upright runners. We needed a power back today in a bad way. Even a hand off to Prentiss would have been worth a try. I would have enjoyed seeing Mims a little bit.
