If Payton cut Moore, he'd last on the waiver wire as long as Snow Crab legs at an "All You Can Eat"
Chinese buffet.

I take it you haven't been to a Chinese buffet that has Snow Crab legs.
The answer is yes...less than a nanosecond.

devery will make it while arringotn is on IR. Arrington has better hand than devery. actually most dead people have better hands than devery.

PUP isnt an option once you've passed the pre training camp physical and practiced. i guess IR makes sense. he shouldnt get too down though, just look how basically "redshirting" a year has appeared to help meachem.

the injury should heal in a couple of months then he can just work on his game and watch the guys ahead of him work and that will help him get better

From Times Pic on Thurs

quote:

RECEIVER STATUS: With two preseason games to go, it appears receiver Devery Henderson is on pace to play as a first-stringer -- and receiver Robert Meachem is not.

When asked Wednesday whether Henderson is fighting more for a roster spot or playing time, Payton said: "I see him fighting more for playing time. He's out with the first group, so when you look at Marques (Colston) and you look at Devery, those guys are right now lining up with the first group. Devery's competing against those other guys behind him. Lance Moore, Robert Meachem, those guys are wanting to get more snaps."

That's sad. If Henderson is better than Patten, Meachem, Moore...hell, even Copper, then we're in deep crap.

im comfortable with colston, patten and henderson out there as a trio. if meach and moore get some catches, all the better.

last year it got to the point where every time henderson was on the field it pretty much said "we're passing" add shockey in there like you said, the return of deuce (play action) and you've got yourself some weapons.
