Understand that we are moving to a 3-4 defense. They called Broughton a defensive end and looks the part of a prototype 3-4 end. We need depth among that front. Young is versatile but the more depth we have at DE the more we can keep him on the edge where he is better served and the only player we have that has really played that position more than just in sub packages. I doubt their was an edge available that they really liked at that spot or they would have picked him,
Nose - Godchaux, Saunders, Boyd
DE - Jordan, Bresee, Broughton, Shepard, Ridgeway
Edge - Young, Granderson, Foskey, Diggs
