That's because I made it.

Naw, I can modify it for ya. Maybe throw chip in it or something. I'll make it tight regardless.

Next time you get pulled over at a DUI checkpoint, use this line OK?

quote:

down the interstate

Secondly, this is a misrepresentation and you know it. The street was not an interstate. It was more like Airline Highway, not I-10.

quote:

So if someone jumps out in front of your car while driving along the interstate, and you did nothing wrong and couldn't avoid it, I guess you should pay for that too.

What you wrote is not what happened to Donte. But nice try relating it to Donte.

If I saw a guy on Airline, had time to flash my lights at him, did not react and ran him over, was legally drunk, left the scene, did not call police, came back and told the cops I did it, I would fully expect to go to jail for 10 years.

You said someone dies, someone pays. Eat your own bullshite dude. Donte was not at fault in the accident but happened to be above the legal drunk limit. I know its so fricking complicated to understand but seems like you have some type of vendetta for him.

Yeah that's what I figured. Just make shite up instead of using the facts.

Eat your own bullshite? You're a douche dude. You've been called out before on this board for being a douche and they were right.

So wait, he wasn't at fault but pled GUILTY to DUI manslaughter? That sounhds like to me he was guilty of killing a person while drunk. You may need to look up the definition of manslaughter.

How can you say he wasn't? You continue to claim that the dude just jumped out in front of Donte' on the interstate. So this leads me to believe you think Donte' wasn't drunk and just didn't have enough time to stop.

None of this is accurate.

The pedestrian was crossing a highway similar to Airline Hwy or Florida Blvd to catch a bus. Not the interstate. Not once has Donte' stated that the pedestrian just jumped out in front of him. In fact in his own defense Donte' claims to have had enough time to "flash his lights" to warn the pedestrian. And if he was cognizant enough to flash his lights how could he not have time to attempt to stop or swerve. I know when something jumps in front of me on the road the last thing I do is flash the fricking lights.

I know he didn't get behind the wheel with the intentions of killing a man but it doesn't matter because everyone who decides to drive after drinking is aware that killing someone is a possible outcome. It's not murder but the outcome for most families is the same.

I don't want to see Donte' rot in jail for the rest of his life either but 30 days in the pen is not enough. He should be held to the same standards you and I would be held to and you know we'd be looking at serving the whole 15 years.

I know the pedestrian's family is shite as well for accepting a fat check in lieu of justice. frick the legal system as well for even allowing this option.

Dumb frick in road was "Rushing to catch a bus"... sounds like he pretty much rushed himself in front of donte's car.

if he rushed himself in front of the car then how did Donte' have time to flash his lights at him instead of taking evasive action?

this is true. Depending the circumstances, I have trained myself for when an animal jumps in front of my car to try and not swerve to avoid a wreck....and just smash the animal instead.

so I guess I need to decide if I'm going to keep this same driving pattern when it comes to people.

Then the dude is liable for not taking evasive action when he could and running the dude over.

Chad, it's always been painfully obvious that once you think you know something it becomes fact to you and I'm alright with that. I just can't fathom how you can accept that Stallworth had enough time to flash his lights to warn the dude but decided to run him over anyway.
