The were counterfeit in that they were knowingly not going to scan properly, but they weren't home-made or something.


You're right about a lot of the tickets. But there were actually some counterfeit printed tickets that were imported to town. I think you can find the story somewhere online.

I have heard of about 50 people getting skammed and I heard the number could of been in the thousands. There was this guy that I called out outside the W where some of my dallas friends almost got skammed. The tickets looked like concert tickets from ticketmaster. I bought my tickets on the corner of Poydras/Lasalle 20 mins prior to kickoff for 150 a piece sec 323 row 5. Before I asked, he said he walk to the gate. This is about as a fool proof plan you can get besides buying from someone that you know. I even gave him 15 bucks worth of chips from Harrah's that I still had in my pocket. He was from Baton Rouge. He even gave me his card.
