Mora Jr sez Peyton at 17 was better than Everett on the Saints then...
Mora was the secondary coach with the Saints at the time. His father, Jim E. Mora, was the head coach for New Orleans and good friends with Peyton Manning’s father, former Saints quarterback Archie Manning.
The younger Mora said Peyton Manning would run the drills alongside New Orleans starting quarterback Jim Everett. And even then, according to Mora, the 17-year-old Manning was the best quarterback on the field.
Mora also watched Manning play high school games on Friday nights, where the talented quarterback was virtually unstoppable.

Rams released DT Hollis Thomas.
...and signed former LSU lineman Marlon Favorite to their PS.

Panthers signed DT Hollis Thomas.
Thomas, 35, was just cut by the lowly Rams, so we know where he's at. The Panthers are just so decimated on the defensive line that they need warm bodies. About five years ago, Thomas was an excellent run-stopper at 6'0/335.
LINK
trivia note- of all the undrafted rookies, Favorite got a larger signing bonus than any other. Six figures if I recall right

something I hope everyone is noticing- more and more you are seeing former Saints signed by other teams. That has not always been prevalent. When guys aren't good enough to cut it on your squad but can make the grade on others is evidence of an organization going in the right direction.
