I think he cost us a couple games that would have gotten us in the playoffs to contend for a Super Bowl

I dont believe the off. would have been near as bad as it was with our off. co-ordinator(CSP) back the first four games.
I truely believe 3-1 not 0-4.
The biggest question is the effect of CSP on Spags and the Def. He would NOT have been hands off as he was with GW per their agreement. What kind of influence and how much it would have helped is a big arse unknown.
I feel certain the def. would have changed and adjusted quicker than it did.
I believe 100% that Roger cost us a winning record and a trip to the playoffs.
Beyond that I would not say.

Falcons got their only competition in the South deliberately crippled, had home field advantage, had a 17-point lead in the NFC Championship game, and STILL didn't make it to the Super Bowl.

And for the record the punishment was too harsh. I've said it many times, but it doesn't change the fact mistakes were made by the Saints.

Yeah, I did. He said "mistakes were made" and that's about as specific as he gets. He also stated in an interview that he was first contacted about the investigation last year, shortly before the NFL released the results of their "investigation," which completely flies in the face of the "they were warned repeatedly and continued" BS.

If I storm in their room with a belt swinging they WILL stop believe me.
I don't believe Goodell stormed the Saints front office. JMO.
Goodell used us as a conveniant example. The situation never should have gone this far. And when it did it went way to far. So yeah, he cost the Saints more than needed. But I understand all the orgs being happy we got knocked down for a year. Less worry about one more team.
