I actually pointed this out in the game thread about why the “needed” the kick the sham extra point.
The last sequence needing to be formally executed created a mockery of so many other rules.
Minnesota’s team on field and throwing helmets? Unsportsmanlike conduct.
How many times did the play clock expire during all of that? A lot
Saints players running out of the tunnel are 80 yards offsides while Minnesota is lined up with like 8 players. But it’s cool, we’ll just wait
The whole thing was just dumb.

Correct. He did throw the flag and, if I’m not mistaken, it would have been assessed on the kick-off, not the extra point.

He was flagged. Didn't you see 2 flags come out. Still how do you let that guy catch that, saints should have gone for it in first place okn 4th down to get the first. Done it plenty times before but anyway how do u let that guy outjump you and catch it and then break free, just tackle the guy. Time would have run out and would never get set on the field to kick a field goal with too little time left. So simple, Minnesota had no time outsleft. With that being said I'd like to see either jags or pats win it all now. Happy for fournette making it to the afc championship game : ) saints need an rb behind ingram or take over ingram place in a year or so and good defense players and possibly a te as well
