he wanted the refs to review the previous play before the Bucs ran the next play (obviously under 2:00 it must come from upstairs)
it had been ruled a Buc 1st down
he either wanted to see whether it was a 1st down or 3rd & 1 or whether Jameis had been across the LOS before making the throw
ETA: that's also obviously why he did it before the Bucs were going to spike the ball to stop a running clock

I think he called the time out to give the line a breather so they could get a rush on Winston. They were gases but by all means keep posting dumb shite.

Agreed but he was a few plays too late. Wasn’t sure why he was saving the timeouts, defense was gassed the whole drive after the converted 4th down.

interesting thought... but if it was just to give them a breather... wait a play after the Bucs spike the ball then call the timeout
the timing of the timeout suggests CSP wanted a review of the 2nd down play
