I dont know if this was talked about already but he was WIDE open up the right side with henderson (triple covered) in the middle. Yes it was a TD so it does not matter but I was just wondering if anyone saw Meachem on that play.....?

the ball took some time to get to him because it was in the air for so long...they split off their man to get to devery

It's most likely what other people said, but it's hard to say with angle.

Ok, I watched the replay with the camera behind Brees. It does look like the safety starts to creep over to Meachem side but quickly comes back to the middle of the field once he sees Devery streaking down the field.

The thing about that play is that it's play action and Drew doesn't have as much time to survey the field. The play is designed to go to Devery. Drew has to fake the hand off, look of the Devery for a second and then throw it to the spot. Drew said after the game that he just had to trust Devery to get there.

Yep. That's the one I watched. I think he could have completed to either of them to be honest with you.

It don't matter. Henderson's play was real pretty and made me spill a whole Crown and Coke!

I'm embarassed to say I was so excited that when he caught it I jumped up from my couch and cut my finger on the fan

ok after looking at that I'm not sure wtf happened to the corner that was covering him...looks like he just stopped and it looked before the throw...

At the game I literally jumped out of my seat and said "Meeaaaachem!" with my beer spilling wildly everywhere. Then he threw to Henderson, but the celebration still ensued.

I believe Henderson blew right by another LSU Tiger... Craig Steltz on that play... then Steltz was the 1 that had the last chance to make the tackle... but fell over Major Wright

whoops... nevermind... that was Chris Conte (#47)... Steltz wears # 20 in CHI

Well whatever - that was an amazing pass. Drew dropped that thing down a shaft of light. I love seeing those moon shots drop right into a receivers hands in stride. Nobody does that better than Drew.

Cause you have him on your fantasy team?

To me it doesn't matter... as long as the Saints score.

This is why I don't draft saints players in FF.

That was one of the prettiest and best thrown balls I've seen.. possibly ever. It sailed through the air so gracefully and plopped right into Devery's "bread basket"
