thoughts on if hes picked with one of the 2 1sts and which of these is more attractive knowing you still have to address a hole?

Wouldn’t hate it but I’m a believer in Pete Werner and think our linebacker group is pretty solid. However you can argue this would be an eventual replacement for Demario davis. I also don’t think we value the linebacker position that high to take a guy in the first

No you have to get Penning somehow that’s all I care about. If I had my choice I’d get Chris Olave or Williams at 19 but just so long as they land Penning. Watch his tape and tell me you don’t want that mean fricker as your LT for the next 10 years. 2nd round I wouldn’t mind DT, S, TE or interior OL just whoever the best player still there. If Howell or Corral somehow slip into the 40’s I could see Loomis trading up a few picks for one of them.

I like our LB on the team. We only play 2 and Werner proved he’s ready for a starting role in place of Kwon to go with Demario and then you still have Kaden Ellis who is fantastic against the run. Baun looks like a bust though. Kind of like when we took Kikaha from Washington he just never could stay healthy or find the right position. He was too small to be regular DE and not really fast enough for LB. I wouldn’t mind spending a late round pick on Damone Clark and take a bet that he comes back from that neck fusion. Im sure he’s been dropped from a lot of team’s draft boards completely but he’s worth a late round pick risk wise. If Kwon wants to come back on another 1 year incentive laden lead I’d be good with that also.
