Deuce was there for all 3 of the Saints only playoff wins

Actually...he wasn't, and the Saints only have two playoff wins. Their first playoff victory was in 2000, which was the year before Deuce got drafted. Their only other playoff win was the Philly game where Deuce ran over the Eagles.

yeah...whoops

I meant to say 2 playoff wins, and don't know why I was thinking it was 2001 when then they beat the Rams.

Can't they hang his jersey without retiring the number?

Seriously, what is the point of this statement? You are obviously a Deuce hater. You have already stated that his rushing statistics aren't impressive to you, but he still leads or is tied for the Saints record in various categories.

You aren't impressed with 6K yards, but in the Saints history he is the all time leader. And it doesn't look like this will be relinquished any time soon.

Quit hating on Deuce.

Thank Deuce for all you've done. And if the saints don't retire your jersey then they are dumb. Because he is the best running back the saints have ever seen. And if reggie will do better then stop watch USC games and start watching saints games.

shite, I knew it was coming but I am freaking heartbroken right now. I didn't know it was going to be this difficult for me. What a class act.

As far as total package football players/caring citizens go, he is going to be very, VERY hard to replace.

Pierre has got some huge britches to fill. I hope he's been paying attention to the character and work ethic that Deuce embodies. I think he has....I think this is the frickING YEAR!!!!!!!
