We need to blow everything up and start over. Drafting a franchise QB high in the first round is the only way we’re going to have a chance at sustained, long-term success. That’s how the NFL works today. Otherwise, you end up in mediocrity for years and years without end. It’s a shame the Chiefs jumped in front of us to get Mahomes. We could have been set for 15 years.
Oh well. Time to start over and get our franchise QB for the future.

It’s kind of like the Dallas Cowboys under Jason Garett. I think his teams had a .500 record over 8-10 seasons.
We all concur that Dennis Allen isn’t a very good coach. It might have to take another two or three seasons before Gayle gets the message. The fans will need patience for the organization to get rebuilt with a staff that knows how to coach football games.
We had Drew and Payton for 15 seasons. Should had made at least two SB’s. It is what it is. Organizations rise and fall . Just ask Bill Belichick.
