After watching the last two Vikings games I firmly believe that Carr is easily a notch above Darnold.

The thing you have to remember is that the Vikings had incredible injury luck on offense this season - their line had a once in a generation run of cohesiveness. He also had the best WR / TE group in the NFC (IMO) and also a pretty good RB duo of James and Akers

Carr had another good statistics year with a shell of what Darnold had in regards to O line and WRs

Just saw this on my NFL.com app:

The Saints could free up $40 million by trading Derek Carr with a post-June 1 designation.

The article also mentions the Saints could try to acquire Darnold.

This seems very far fetched.

Carr is ok, and would probably look great if he had an offense like the Vikings with elite talent all over and good offensive coaching.

But we have none of that. It would make sense if we can get off that salary now to do it.

Do what we shoujd have done instead of signing him. Sign the cheapest vet fa to start and work Rattler in and draft a qb next year. And get out of this cap mess.,

Fields, Wilson, Jimmy G, Flacco. Doesn’t matter, whoever wants to start for cheap.
