The pyrrhic victory occurred against Tampa.
Would have preferred losing the game with Winston never getting injured.
The Saints won the battle with Brady but the war of attrition is too costly.
If Winston does not get cheap shot injured, the Saints are 8-3-0.
If Taysom was not cheap shot injured, the Saints would not have overused Kamara and Taysom would have been gadget man available to move the offense.
Unfortunately, injuries, may send CSP down a different path at QB.

I think it might have made sense to at least sign a QB after Winston was injured to at least have veteran QB that might help TS or serve as a back up. Payton didn’t do it and he is paying a price. Whether it was one of those 3 or someone else wouldn’t matter now. Payton has totally screwed up any chance this team had after Winston’s injury.
