Colt McCoy is much, much better than Daniel. He's actually a pretty good comparable to Brees as far as his game (obviously not even close on achievement)

McCoy is from Texas, smart, smaller QB (though bigger than Brees), below avg arm strength, great short game accuracy, athletic, and collegiate winner. He'd be a great backup in N.O. except I think McCoy wants to be a starter. It would prob be a couple of years before he resigned himself to full time backup duty. But my point is that Daniel isn't close to the prospect that McCoy is.

I don't mind picking up McCoy as long as we can call him "Billy Joe." I miss having QB named "Billy Joe."

A guy with questionable arm strength in a down field passing attack offense?

Yeah that makes sense.

Editor: Does McCoy have a weak arm like DB and Chase?

McCoy probably has the weakest arm in the NFL outside of Chad Pennington.

In ol' Pennington's defense he is out of the league now. Retired and now doing commentating.

He did hold this crown for a long time.

I would love to have seen Chad Pennington's career sans the shoulder surgeries. With that accuracy, he could have been an all-time great.

I think he will be a great QB one day...hes not far off from Brees, and has been a winner at every level
