Why do you stop the click with 5 seconds left. I knew there would be 1 second left in the clock and we have to kickoff.

you see... there's this thing called a play clock... and if it gets down to 0 before the ball is snapped or a timeout is called the Saints are penalized 5 yards
the Saints called timeout to make sure they would not get penalized those 5 yards
