The last 23 games before Carr, Saints went 11-12.
What an enormous waste

Carr's stats as a Saint:
465/676 (68.8%)
4867 yards
7.2 YPA
33 TDs
12 INTs
66 rushing yards
1 TD
1 FumL
98.3 Passer Rating
36 sacks
While he isn't the problem, there's a lot of other issues that him being here simply delays.

Only 1 game, but tough to hang the packer loss on Carr. He left up 17-0. If we protect him, saints make the playoffs last season

That’s exactly why he is the problem. We payed him to be the solution and he’s obviously not the solution. He’s completely fricked our rebuild.
Carr is Purgatory

In his defense (and I am just playing devil’s advocate here)…..
They have provided him with a garbage offensive line, absolutely ZERO decent weapons, and 1 trash OC and 1 OC who the jury is still out on (who also looks like trash since the 1st two games).
Kamara missed the first 3 or 4 games last year and didnt do much after. He has looked so far this season, but still not the explosive RB he used to be.
The other Saints RB’s during Carr’s tenure have been garbage. Especially do-nothing Jamaal Williams and never-play Kendre Miller.
Olave is a WR2 that the Saints pretend is a WR1.
Shaheed is a WR3 disguised as a WR2.
All the other Saints WR’s since Carr got here are a pile of garbage.
And the Michael Thomas locker room cancer bitch certainly didn’t help.
Juwan Johnson has been a disappointment and Foster Moreau is mainly a blocker.
Look- I’m not happy with the results from Carr either, but I dont think there is a QB in the NFL that would be doing much better than 11-12 with the garbage the Saints have provided him on offense.

Whether you think he’s shite or you think he’s mediocre doesn’t matter. We are wasting our time on someone who can’t make our team better. We’re paying him $38 million / year and he’s having zero impact.
I’ve also never heard this many excuses for a QB in my life. But it’s ok to shite on Olave who would be a top 10 WR if he played for the chiefs, bills, packers etc.

Dennis Allen was the bigger waste. We could have prime Drew and this team still wouldn’t be going anywhere.
I am actually impressed a quarterback could have an 11-12 record with Allen as head coach.

I’d love to see a breakdown of this when the game is competitive vs not. We always hear how great of a D mind Allen is, how great Derek’s gross stats are yet here we are…never really competing and just sliding further and further down.
I think the dude is just a solid stat ladder.

Would you exclude stats in games the saints win by more than one score?
ETA:. saints seem to go as Carr goes... they're 8-3 in games he's over 100 passer rating, and 1 of the losses is to GB when he left up 17-0.

There was not a rebuild after Drew and you know it.
That’s my entire point. I don’t hate Carr I just know he’s not the answer. We need to start over
