LB is a good position to be weak at, though. We won the SB, went to the NFCCG, and went 11-5 last year essentially ignoring the position. The only problem I've had with it is that LB is the RB of the defense, easiest position to transfer over to (most DROYs are LBs) and you can get decent talent in the middle rounds. At least we finally drafted Tez, let's just hope he plays well when he gets healthy.

I wish more people would read your post because its so true. The Saints just love to 'twiddle their thumbs'. OMG. Why can't they just draft a good one? Our drafted players just suck arse. I mean just draft a LB who's good...what gives. Do we need better scouts or late round picks? Here we are drafting bust players and other teams just pass us bye and no one in the front office seems to see our need for a good LB.

Oh, its not like I care. If they want to keep having LBs lost in coverage and struggle in run support, then by all means...keep putting Casillias and Shanle out there every year till he's in a walker.

So you don't care if the saints have a good team?

Not what I said...I said if they want to keep neglecting the outside linebacker position, then I'm fine with it. They seem to win without it but I mean, come on. How long does a ceiling have to leak before you plug the hole

I'm with you I think they probably believe they can get good enough production from our guys without having to pay a ton for an above average lb. Eventually we are going to have to upgrade and everyone knows it but maybe they are hoping one of these young guys can become a star
