He is right but continuity with someone that is a proven loser is an exercise in futility. Especially when nobody is buying into what he is selling.
Compare the situation in dallas to new orleans. People want to fire a coach with 3 straight 12 win seasons. That would be stupid and fits into what tom is saying.

Think about how many different assistant coaches we've gone through over the last few years though.
Now this season we have a new offensive coordinator coming in a new receivers coach and we got to see if there's going to be any other changes made.

Continuity for continuity's sake is dumb. Most continuity is achieved as a result of winning, not the other way around.
