I'm kind of interested to see what players like CB Josh Shaw will do. Also looking at DE Trey Flowers. Wonder if this guy can convert to OLB. I guess I just like his game.

LB Eric Kendricks was a scratch for the roster because of a hamstring injury. Really wanted to watch this guy but he's somebody I hope we look at anyway.

Every single LBer for the South Team is someone the Saints need to look at hard.

And did Paul Dawson decline the invite like Kevin White did? How is he not in this?

I don't know he must have. Sometimes these guys have some lingering injuries that they were able to play with late in the year but would rather not risk an all star game.

TCU has a few other players here this week so I'm sure they offered an invite to him.

This is always the best collegiate all-star game for prospects.

I'm looking forward to it.

they aren't practicing today but I think the weigh ins and stuff like that is today.

practices are Tuesday,Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

the fanfare stuff is on Friday.

I always like to go to a practice at least once each year if I'm not working that day.

The Saints staff/scouts had the shortest trip to make. I think it was 2 years ago they had more personnel in the stands than anyone else. I mean they were in full force.

that was right after Payton got back and Spags was fired. I think he was fired while he was in town because he was here and I spotted him but he was never with the Saints personnel.

What a dumb arse name. That being said, I'd love for the Saints to get this guy.

Is this guy still around? Jeez I though he had gone pro 5 years ago.

Shane Carden, East Carolina

The Saints choose him in the 5th or 6th round. Book it!

LB Amarlo Herrera from Georgia was recently added.

I don't think they did the weigh ins today because we probably would have seen people commenting about it on twitter.

that was actually a typo its Golson not Colson. Copy and pasted this list from NFL.com.

i think they try and practice like NFL teams do today. Not a whole lot of hitting and of course for a showcase like this there will be a lot of 1-on-1's with the linemen and WR/DB's.

it didn't use to be that way. Practices used to be physical back in the 90's when we use to go watch them after school.

and its crazy how much media comes here for this now. Back then nobody gave a shite but ever since the NFL Network has started coming here it gets a lot more attention.

well, its just an all star game.

there isn't much football going on this week except for the Pro Bowl.

I don't know if any of the players here this week are pick #13 material but we'll see.

definitely a lot of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks here though.

Stanley Jean Baptiste was the lone guy from our draft class last year who participated here.

Terron Armstead, John Jenkins from the 2013 draft played here.

Cam Jordan was the lastest 1st round pick who played in this game that the Saints have picked.

Jimmy Graham was here in 2010.

so I mean a few of our mid round picks are probably up above on these rosters at the top of the thread. That's why I figured I would put this on here. Just start to get a little more familiar with these prospects before the long draft process begins.

Never saw any #Saints coaches at either Senior Bowl practice today --including reported new hire Dennis Allen.
