Tyler Lawson will be there in the 5th. Next pick should be linebacker but stork most likely be pick in fourth I hope not but could happen.

The more I look at the remaining centers, the more I like this Russell Bodine kid out of UNC. He's an underclassman and had the most reps on the bench press at the combine. Basically he's a mean bastard who isn't agile enough to play tackle, but has played guard and center.
Strengths
Carries a load in his punch and plays with vinegar. Can seal and turn defenders in the run game to create small creases. Plays with a mean streak and likes to finish blocks. Is aggressive working up to the second level and efficient cutting linebackers. Rugged competitor. Stout anchor in pass protection. Versatile and has seen action at center and guard.
Weaknesses
Stiff-bodied. Plays short-armed and overextends. Average agility. Is late to switch off blocks. Relies too much on his upper-body strength. Mechanics deteriorate the farther he is asked to travel. Slow to adjust to counter moves.
Bottom Line
A top-heavy, barrel-chested, thick-bodied, short-area blocker, Bodine plays with a gritty football demeanor. Swing-interior versatility adds to his value.

McShay just said turner can maybe play C

Yeah he did some snaps to Mett at the pro day for the Saints.

Must of been a not so great hiker and finger pointer

Don't tell me what Trai Turner can do. I raised that kid since he was old enough to run block! (6 months old) He can play Center. He can play Guard. He can be a gunner on punts. He has No Fear. He's even got a shirt that says that.

Kurt Warner and Warren Sapp just gave us props when they were discussing who is having the best draft through two days.

Interesting stuff from Payton:

I'd have to agree with him being too high a value to pass on. Really thought he would have been gone.
Interesting to see we would have traded down. Either we didn't like the options at that value or we had a lot of options and could trade down, get our man, and some extra picks.

Payton said the Saints probably would have traded down if Jean-Baptiste didn’t fall to them.
“Stan was someone that was separate from the guys on our board. It ended up being a good fit for us,” Payton said.

Walter seems to disagree about his value.

Sometimes I like Walter and sometimes I don't. In this case I don't. Baptiste can wind up being a huge steal. I wouldn't have taken him in the first, but with his upside being way up there this is a great second round pick.
I agree more with Mayock(I think it was Mayock) here. He had him as his 40th ranked player.

What besides his height points to upside?

Watched his games or highlights? Big thing is he use to be a WR and has great ball skills. He can out leap everyone. Has great speed and agility for his size. Can hit hard.
Downside is his tackling technique. For someone who only played CB for 2 years, that can still be taught.

I see.
I'm always dubious with the Saints drafting corners.
And I honestly had hope for the players already at the position on the roster.
Young players.
