Pete Carmichael is a shite in game playcaller. The above ^^ 2 items are both a reason for Carmichael being hamstrung in some cases, but also he cannot help them out. The below are solely on Pete and his ineptitude.

>We are struggling in the red zone! No reasoning for not utilizing 6'6" Jimmy Graham here. He's not going to get you 8rec/100 yards but for the love of god the man is still taller than everybody on the defense and can still jump. Today when we had 1st down from the 15yrd line we had Jimmy as an inline blocker and ran the ball, then we took him off the field and put in Taysom and proceeded to run pass plays on 2nd & 3rd which had Taysom's route going into the end zone
>If we throw a pass for an incompletion on 1st down, bet your arse we are running it on 2nd down for a 2 yard max gain, then either a screen or check down on 3rd followed by a 36 yard punt
