As much as I've criticized Perry Jones, I'm still taking him over Moultrie. Perry's had some inconsistent numbers, especially in some of the biggest games of his career, but at the end of the day, he does what's asked of him and he really doesn't get a chance at all to showcase his offensive game in whatever kind of 'offense' Scott Drew runs. They run two plays for Perry Jones: 1) screen his man off of the ball for the alley oop 2) give him the ball forever away from the paint. That second one can be blamed on poor positioning by Jones himself, but a lot of that has to do with the lack of floor spacing in the Baylor offense.
I know Moultrie's offense didn't benefit him much more than Perry's, but they did a better job of getting him the ball in the low post. He's very skilled on the offensive end, but Jones can do a lot of the same stuff but isn't given the looks to show that in a guard-oriented offense. Nothing Drew draws up gets the ball to the bigs going towards the goal.
A lot of that can be applied to Quincy Miller, too. The guy can flat out score on the wing in so many different ways, but they rarely let him iso. I think Jones is a 12 and 7 guy at the minimum in the NBA which isn't what he's hyped to be, but also isn't Anthony Randolph version two either. And I maintain that Miller will be a better player than Barnes, though I still consider it highly unlikely Miller enters this year.

Assuming one of the picks is in the top 5, my rankings would be:
2. Arnett Moultrie
3. Jeremy Lamb
4. Bradley Beal
Stopped reading here.
Moultrie at 2 and Lamb over Beal ? You need to do some re-evaluations. I like Moultrie, not as much as you, and would not be terribly disappointed getting him with the 2nd pick.
Lamb over Beal. Come on, man !
