This is a legit fact.

There's a lot of data to confirm over multiple seasons that Memphis is essentially a top 5 defense when Ja and a not on the court, and a bottom 5 defense when he's on the court.

Ja will literally never win a title. That's what's so annoying about this "conversation." At best, Ja has a Dame 2.0 career, which still ain't shite. But Ja can't shoot. So idk how that's gonna happen. Ja is a great player, but unless he finds himself next to a Shaq or LBJ type player, I can't foresee him winning anything.

I mean, that's a Hall of Fame career, it's just a bit overkill to say it "ain't shite"

That's basically true of every player in the league though.

Lebron needed Bosh and Wade, Kyrie, AD.

Kobe needed Shaq, Shaq needed Kobe/Wade/Hardaway.

Giannis needed Khris and Jrue.

Curry needed Klay, Iggy, Dray.

Durant needed Curry/Klay

Zion will need help if he ever gets one.

I don't think it's fair to hold Ja to an impossible standard. And I personally dont see a reason why if you gave Ja a team comparable, but catered to Ja, like that first Warriors championship team, that Ja at his peak couldn't win one as well.
