all im saying is if the goal is championship or bust....we dont have the pieces nor will we by the end of this season....EG is what he is...time doesnt turn backwards...grant hill and penny at least had some decent seasons before breaking down...even brandon roy...eg is borderline done or full of crap waiting to sandbag his way out of town like baron davis. we need pieces and the only bonafide one we have for the long term at the moment is AD...if anyone we have can yield us a decent return outside of him that can build this team im down to make a trade if dell thinks it makes us better. i agree about hanging on to him...a contender will lose a PG at some point and will need a body...look at boston and chi town just last year alone.
