I think they have a hard time admitting they are just fans too. So when all the fans are saying one thing, it’s important to them to not be lumped in with that group. If they aren’t ‘smarter’ than the average Joe, they have no perceived value.
Somethings, however, are just obvious. And that is Gentry’s inability to establish a consistent winning culture over a large sample size. Just own it.

Good point about them simply being fans.
A lot of them are super weirdly overly political too, I wonder if that plays a part in it, but I can't really make the connection.
Anyway, it is what it is. I still think Griffin will move on once the bubble is over, sometime around lottery time.
