The Locker Room

We all know that Willie Green isn't an in-your-face kind of Coach. He doesn't have a "strong voice." A coach like him, therefore, needs player leadership that does have a strong voice.
We all know that Zion is a bit of a goofball and not much of a vocal leader. Last season began with BI, CJ, and Dejounte as the vocal leaders of the team. Now, BI and CJ are gone, and Dejounte isn't playing right now.
Everything that I have seen has pointed to Jordan Poole as the vocal leader of the team, but I Don't think that that leadership was good. I think that's why Willie benched him. I also think that's part of why DeAndre Jordan (a known vocal leader who has been a friend of Willie since their playing days) was added to the roster.
I also suspect that this is part of why DeAndre started against Denver. And I think it all backfired spectacularly, as we saw.
The other losses were all somewhat excusable. The first two were close games, and we didn't have Zion against Boston. But so much about last night was inexcusable. I think that it made the locker room problems just glaringly obvious.

Jordan Poole got bitchslapped by that criminal Draymond Green & he has never recovered personally or professionally.
