You are not alone. I have been saying this for years. I haven't looked at any advanced stats, but it would seem not only does a slower pace cut down turnovers, but it would help out on the defensive side as well. There is nothing wrong with a fast pace, when done at the proper time, but the pelicans, under Gentry, only put an emphasis on pace. shite there were sometimes when they were inbounding the ball, they were so worried about pushing, they would nearly turn it over lol
