Fletch asked Dumars about his approach to building the roster with regards to the trade he made for Queen and his response was:

We're going to go and try by our own path. We are not going by anyone else's path. They really loved our draft picks and we are not playing by anyone else's book.

Players number:
Fears - 0
Queen - 22
Peavy - 14

We also signed Chase Hunter Guard from Clemson.

Well that's as stupid of a response as I expected from Dumars. He better pray that neither us, nor MIL, land a top pick next year or he's gonna get the Nico Harrison treatment.

Get Mohave King over here for Summer League and we can have King and Queen in the lineup.

Its a stupid response for him to say "we are trying something different than going in circles like the last 10+ years and relying on hope/ future assets that may or may not workout?"

There are several situations where (1) of those picks end up in the lottery and this was still a successful trade..... Stop making EVERYTHING about an assumption that isn't real yet and maybe focus on the upside of (2) top 15 players that could end up top 5-10 and are actually on our team.

Y'all all want to talk about "how bad this could go" but barely anyone wants to talk about "how well this could go". Furthermore your argument that it won't go well is based off of how its gone in the past which you just shite on the direct quote talking about how he wants to take a different path....

So y'all are basing all of his decisions on past failures and simultaneously shitting on him for saying he is taking a different approach.

Just stupid. The reality is that it is 50/50 on if this goes good or bad. It should also give more optimism knowing he's doing something different because that means you can't compare it to the past seasons. Nothing you said makes actual sense.
