The Royce White saga was a fiasco, and the Rockets are hardly to blame.

They took a chance on him and drafted him. They got him a bus so that he didn't have to fly as much, they got him a psychologist to help him through the season, and were open to helping him succeed.

He was a complete flake and refused to go to practice and a bunch of other crap. So at the end of the season, the Rockets traded him to Philly.

That fiasco had nothing to do with the Rockets.

As far as Parsons' situation goes... how is letting him test free agency one year early, which allows him to get paid big money one year early bad treatment? He could have kept him for 900k and still chased a star.

And Morey simply tries to improve the team wherever and whenever he can. That's his job.
