Love had a great night and is a really good player, but we aren't going to use our trade assets to trade for a position of strength when we have other needs.

No one is disputing his skills against West's, it just isn't a trade that would make sense for us

I don't think that anyone was disputing that Kevin Love is a good player, but you definitely don't want to trade away CP3's #1 guy on the team and ruin the chemistry and also possibly make him very unhappy again. We are doing fine with West, so even though Love would be a very good replacement we don't need it so we can just stick with what works

There were no fewer than 2 people claiming west is a better player than love and if you were to go back and read the thread like you should have in the first place you'll see everyone, myself included, saying "we don't make this trade due to chemistry"
