Shooting the jumpers is more about long term longevity and game to game stamina and putting different things on film than about maximizing pure efficiency.

I don’t think we should put Z in a box and suggest he can’t ever shoot 3’s or middies efficiently as well. And He has to shoot them to hone that craft over time.

He can’t play the way he plays now at age 32. It’s possible he won’t even be able to play this way until age 27 considering injuries and the pounding his style subjects him to. Adding long range shots to his game opens a 5 year contender window into a 12-15 year window imo.
