That’s fair. I’ve never fully pulled my hamstring. I just think it’s bad optics to be able to walk 4-5 mph off the court, yet not be able to play for months or at least try to give it a go in the moment of playoff adrenaline.

Luka, for example, would play through that until the end of the game. Part of that is a different toughness mentality. The 2nd part of it, is his basketball game is built off of intellect and skill, rather than being a bull in a china shop. So he doesn’t need his hamstrings to be 100% to even attempt to play on them.

Ehhh... Luka exited a game last march, had a negative mri so likely low grade at worst.

They've been hush about zion and his injuries, which leads me to believe it's more serious than a grade 1.

Like you said though, Luka doesn't play with nearly the amount of force that zion does. That's the issue zion had coming in - the sports science episode showed you he pushes off with way too much force. Over. And over. Soft tissue injuries and joint issues ruined Blake griffin, He adapted.

Zion has yet to even remotely come close to adapting.
