Just got email from the Pels. All season ticket holders get 4 free tickets to the official Pelicans NBA Draft Party at Mannings on Thursday, June 20th:

Would have preferred something in Champions Square (or even SKC) rather than a limited crowd at a restaurant.

I'm not sure. I know they're free for STH. They might be selling tickets to it for the general public. You can call the ticket office and ask I suppose.

I think It's going to look pretty awesome on National TV with everyone at Mannings wearing the free tshirt and celebrating when Zion's name is called. Champions Square and SKC are probably too big of venues for the actual attendance that would show up on a Thursday night and would look too bare.

i spoke to my rep and it sounds like inside at Mannings is for season ticket holders only, but outside in front of the restaurant and down Fulton Alley, it will be open to the public and they will have a stage set up. Should be an awesome night

The New Orleans Pelicans are hosting their official draft party at Fulton Street Square on Thursday, June 20 beginning at 5:30 p.m. The 2019 Pelicans Draft Fest, which is free and open to the public, offers fans a unique opportunity to celebrate this historic moment as the Pelicans select the first overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative 2019 Pelicans Draft Fest T-shirt and other prize giveaways.
ESPN’s draft telecast will be aired live at the draft party. Additionally, Pelicans' radio broadcasters Sean Kelley and John DeShazier will be providing the latest draft news and updates from inside Manning’s restaurant.
2019 Pelicans Draft Fest will feature special performances from New Orleans’ own New Breed Brass Band and the Zion Harmonizers, along with appearances by the Pelicans Dance Team, Pierre the Pelican and the Pelicans Drum line.
Fans can also visit Pelicans.com for live reports from NBA Draft headquarters in Brooklyn, N.Y., and exclusive interviews with Pelicans front office executives from the Ochsner Sports Performance Center.

Find a meter and throw 6 bucks in it from 5-7pm. After 7 it's free. There's also Harrah's garage and a garage on Tchoupitoulas by Barcadia that's only a few minutes walking distance.

Whatever you do - try to avoid Convention Center Blvd. From Poydras to the Bridge, it is a nightmare any time of day, but particularly at rush hours. You will turn onto it by mistake and an hour later hate yourself. The convention center renovations have it down to one narrow lane that seems to never move.
Pelicans are suggesting people park at Casino Garage which is on Convention Center Blvd. Entrance is only a block off Poydras, so it might not take too long. But plan for major congestion if you go that way.

I’m about to close out my tab at Rusty Nail and walk over to the fest! I’m anticipating a line to get in Mannings. Also, there’s still a few free parking spots here if you don’t mind walking 10-15 mins.

So here’s the deal yall. Entrance gets you a food box with a jumbo pretzel, mini mufolotta, & mini burger and the typical Dixie wristband with 2 drink tags. Thankfully i have like 15 extra tags.
