so explain to me what this does by trading Peja. We don't have to pay him all that money? Does Toronto have to pay Peja all that money why would they do that? I'm sure this trade will help us in the long run for sure. Demps get the benefit of the doubt

I've been a fan of Bayless' since he was drafted, so I'm kinda bummed he didn't work out here, but we got a really solid back up PG out of it. Having Green and Bayless was kind of redundant, and having a TRUE back up PG will make a bigger difference than I think most people realize. Hopefully Andersen can give us some production from the 5. Did anyone else notice we got rid of one guy who couldn't spell Jared for another one.

And their first names are quite similar. Jarrett. Jerryd. And who is this Jared fellow? Is he related to Curtis Jerrells?

I think another trade is about to happen
Reminds me a lot of the South Park threads.
"This is a good episode for Randy to show up."
Is it possible we make a trade that doesn't set up another one?

That's a joke, right?

So you admit to being at least somewhat fricking brain dead then. Interesting.

Jack has to be the happiest person in the world today. You go from a terrible team that plays in Canada, to one of the best teams in the league and playing with one of your good friends.

I went over the the Rap's message board to see what they were saying over there. I thought we, as Hornet's fans, get carried away with talknig about a trade for Melo, but some of them actually think they have a chance to trade for him.

I think Jack has potential to be very good for New Orleans, playing behind CP3 he'll be more relaxed and have less pressure. He'll be asked to distribute more as New Orleans have enough scorers aka marco belenelli

It's not the same level of theft that Juju for Marco was, but this certainly feels like Toronto did us a favor. They traded Belinelli because they didn't have enough SG minutes to go around, why would they trade a PG for a combo guard that just proved he can't be a reliable PG? They also like Jack and were ready to let him start when they were trying to dump Calderon IIRC.

Nice breakdown, and good job by them connecting the dots. Demps
BTW, I wouldn't even cosider the Jerrells a foul tip (or a trade), we didn't even have to give up the 2051 second round pick for him.
