Because a GM would admit to it if a player were being shopped. Also a GM is never going to throw his coach under the bus during the season.

He doesn't identify specific needs, really. Injuries have been the problem. And he's happy with Monty. ETA: Oh, he's also happy with Gordon and says he is not being shopped.

Just quoting the article, brah. Not vouching for veracity or sincerity.

Dell says in the article that he would not say they if they were looking to trade a player as a matter of policy.

Not if they don't make progress.

Yeah, me too.

As I was saying . . .

Never posted that once, myself.

Still don't think, however, we will have an adequate or reliable sample upon which to judge Demps until next season. That's not sunshine pumping. It's realistic and unemotional. You could make a very convincing argument that, for all practical purposes, we are only in year two of his tenure.

Well, that's kind of SOP around the league, I would think .

ETA: That's a little different than making an affirmative statement, however. That said, I think GM's lie their asses off if it suits their purpose.

Sounds like a Mickey Loomis mandate. That dude's interviews are about as informative as a Fred Phelps sermon.

"I don't want to get into that…"

"That's a personal matter between the player and the organization…"

"I can't comment…"

Dell, stay loyal to cue ball head and your arse will be escorted out of the facility at the end of the season as well.
The "Pecans" are a lost organization. The blind leading the lost. The organization will never be anything of significance unless there is a complete overhaul. It's an exercise in futility and it will always be "Wait until next Year" until clueless Tom pulls the trigger. Damn shame.
