I'll take the 82 game sample when comparing players.

JR averaged 1.8 ppg with lower percentages across the board while playing more (barely) minutes.

That's fine and valid, but the numbers were specifically limited to the playoffs.

But. I'm game to shift gears. Looking at those season numbers, while Marco had marginally better shooting numbers, Earl had better rebounding numbers, more assists (which is astounding because Marco ran the point pretty much for Italy in the WBC and Earl is supposed to be all about himself) and steals.

Earl also got to the FT line 96 more times then Marco.
