WTF is wrong with Studio one Free?

I dl studio free and then all volume killed.
I can't get anything on my computer to make a sound except windows sounds (ie default beep)
can't get anything through my headphones or speakers

do you have an interface hooked up? if so presonus is going to automatically use that as your outputs for the computer as well. they assume that you will use powered speakers like in a recording studio. you just have to tweak your interface and speaker hardware configuration. happened with studio one when i first got it.

I have
frigging retarded..i have no idea how my audio card is attached. i was want to make beats using the instruments layer them and then play back together.

free for 30 , $60 after
I will purchase...only bad thing thing is that I don't know how to create my own beats from scratch
I choose from a list then edit those to make my beats.(which is easier, but at the same time, i feel like I'm cheating)
did what I wanted to do after only 10 mins with this software.
