My BP went up when I read his post, glad someone else said it before I had to. Also THOU should've been mentioned in here if we are gonna list way less deserving bands. Megawitch is sick but I haven't seen them have a gig in a while. Christworm just had a show at mid city last week. Again none of these bands are stoner metal, I am not really aware of a stoner metal band out of LA. Forming the Void would be the closest but they are more doom metal than anything

Any and all stoner metal discussions start and end with two bands, SLEEP and Kyuss. My choice to define the genre would be this song : From Beyond

there are entire channels focused on stoner rock on youtbe. lot of great bands. did anyone go to friday show and see Green gas or Black Mojo?
