The Cult - Peace Dog - BBC Broadcast - 1987

Electric really was a great album. I listened to it daily for probably 2 years when it came out.

I tired earlier than that, Love rocked my world, however. It really did.

I guess the hangover from Love, and the slight departure from that ambience, and that fact that I was absolutely absorbed by the Pixies and JAMC then, kind of crowded them out.

ETA I was also clinging to the hope that the Replacements sans Tommy would get better, and listened to that black album fervently, and also was still dabbling in The Stone Roses and, are you ready...............De La Soul.

I also was on a renewed Bowie kick (all of it, not the Let´s Dance stuff).

I listened to a fair bit of Pixies and JAMC as well as others during that time. Somehow I listened to 6-8 hours of music daily back then.

I did jam Electric on the walkman, when I ran, however.

Ah the walkman. Brings back good memories. Recording everything to metal cassettes for "optimum" audio quality.

I had a silver version, with three types of bass on it. It was ´shock proof´, and had an arm band or strap.
