Yeah, In my drinking days I liked some of the local bars because the old timers would bring instruments and a jam would break out.

If I remember correctly you're just a few years younger than my grandpa and I'm pretty sure that if he even knows what rock n roll is he thinks its the devil's music.

So here's to you

I'm 61. But I live by a simple creed, "You're only young once ---- but you can be immature forever!"

Roger, I'm old by a lot of people's standards.

For the most part this is true, my knees often tell me different, though.

Damn. You're active as hell for being almost 50. Not that 50 is old I just can't imagine someone my dads age wandering the Alaskan Wilderness

Hell, there are people in their 70's that put me to shame. Lots of really active folks around here. I run into people in their 70's and 80's on some pretty strenuous trails.

I hate when that happens. Most of the time I wake up with something running through my head I can't stand. Some catchy pop tune.

I wake up with songs stuck in my head all the time. And usually it's some random song I haven't thought about in years.

John Moreland - Oh Julia

This guy has the potential of being remembered as one of the great songwriters of this generation.
