What Do You Look for in a Music Teacher

Been "teaching" myself acoustic guitar for a couple of years via youtube. But I would like to correct some of the problems I have most probably created via this method of learning & would like to take lessons from a "live" teacher. I am under no illusions of my musical talent, I play for my own enjoyment, something I like to do. But I would like to improve & hoping immediate feedback from a teacher would help. What advice would veteran musicians or other music students offer to a noob who wants to locate a good teacher & improve and learn? TIA.
Probably should add, 62 year old here.

Admiration for Randy Rhoads, Dimebag Darrell, tremolo picking, chainsaw distortions, tube amps and palm muting

I'm of no help, but with you id explain exactly that to someone giving lessons. You want to help with things you feel you can improve on. If the teacher is capable, they can probably help you or at least point you in the direction of someone who can.

Can't vouch for Guitar Center but there's one in Clearwater.... so maybe you can ask the same thing from a couple guys that are playing something you like... without getting automatically tied to one of their instructors.
and while your waiting
Angela Petrilli she can you teach a thing or two

There is no rule that you have to subscribe to a particular teacher from the onset. Bounce between a few until you find the person who is YOUR best fit.

Never had a teacher but I'd suggest finding someone who is patient and who is good at the style of guitar you want to ultimately play.
